As a photographer I take on assignments within the following categories:

ARCHITECTURE

EDUCATION

PORTRAIT

ACTION

AIR

As a photographer I need to be involved in the situations that I photograph. I’m interested in getting close, in capturing relationships. In showing how structures relate and how people relate and communicate. I work with a small camera and a few very basic lenses. I’m for feel and intensity. Content before aesthetics.

I only take on commercial photographic projects, which somehow relate to my other projects, either because they can help develop crucial aesthetic sides of my photography or give special access to or knowledge about areas within my scope of interest.

I work with the existing light and situations. As a consequence I need time to build up relationships; I need time to get the situations and the light just right.

For action photography it is different. Then the time is now.

If the project requires special equipment or expertise, I’ll hire that in.

If you want the technically perfect picture or the quick job done, hire someone else.
